Voltspan helps companies keep their data in their own hands and turn it into models of their own. We build from the power up: our own GPU clusters in US data centers, the sandboxes and inference agents run on, and the training behind them. We are growing across every layer of the stack.
About the role
Build the platform layer of Voltspan: the gateway in front of every model, scheduling across our clusters, and the pipeline that captures every agent run.
What you'll do
- Build the gateway and routing layer for frontier, open and customer-trained models
- Build scheduling and capacity management across GPU clusters in several data centers
- Build the trace pipeline behind search, evals and training
- Own reliability and on-call for the systems you build
What we're looking for
- You have built and run multi-tenant, high-throughput distributed systems in production
- Fluent in Go, Rust or Python
- Comfortable with Kubernetes and the networking and storage underneath it
Nice to have
- Usage metering and billing systems
- GPU cluster scheduling (Slurm or Kubernetes)
Projects you might work on
- Shift a customer's traffic from one model to another gradually, with one-step rollback
- One scheduler for training, inference and sandboxes across all our sites
